Calendars are hard

Jonah has had a calendar in his room for the past few months. He enjoys crossing off the days and trying to read the upcoming events. It has really helped him fix future events in his mind.  This past weekend he told me that today was his preschool graduation.  I told him that the actual event was not for another week.  He brought me over to his calendar to show me that I was wrong. He had crossed off all the days leading up to the event so it must be today. I showed him which day was today and that he had crossed off too many days. He was having none of that. 

He also noticed that there were a few empty boxes after the last day of the month. He filled them in.   There are now 32 days in June and he has a play date on the 31st.
