First Day of School

We enrolled Genevieve in school a few weeks ago. The class is only twice a week for 2.5 hours per session. We had to go in for orientation to learn how the class was structured. The class is designed to help G transition to school without mommy. Carrie sits on the sidelines and can interact with Genevieve only when G comes to get her. Once G stops going to Carrie for comfort Carrie must stay in the hallway. At which point G can go into the hall for comfort. After G stops going into the hall, Carrie is free to drop her off and only return when class is over.

We were required to give Genevieve a backpack. The teachers said it is so the kids can feel more mature since they see the older kids with backpacks. She isn't even two and we have to worry about her feeling more mature? Oh well. Here is G modeling a backpack that she received as a gift when we were in Israel.
