It's Like Magic

I took Sophie and Genevieve to an indoor play center (same place as G's birthday) to play and see a magician this week. For 3 hours they ran around like wild animals, did sand art (Sophie didn't want to leave and would periodically pick up handfuls of orange sand and scream, "Orange!" as she tried to take it with her), got their faces painted, watched a magic show, and ate pizza. Yeah, I think they had a good time.

Sophie almost took out the face painting station several times.

This is a lot more difficult than it looks. We tried explaining to Sophie that you can't watch someone paint your face but she kept turning her head to see anyway. The ladybug lasted almost 5 minutes before Sophie rubbed it off.

Genevieve's butterfly lasted until we got into the car when she decided to rub her face. She realized what she did and cried. Ah, the perils of face painting.
