Sophie has been able to crawl for a while but unfortunately it has always been backwards. She would see something she wants and start kicking and squirming as if swimming for her life and then proceed to crawl backwards. She found it very frustrating to work so hard to get to something only to have it get further and further away. I thought it was pretty funny. During Sophie's trip to Georgia, however, she managed to get her gears straightened out and she can now crawl forward! She is very excited by this and always a little surprised. Sophie's first tooth has broken through! It is definitely bothering her and I can't exactly say I'm thrilled about it. Did I mention that I'm still breast feeding?
With Genevieve we weren't used to calling her by name so we had different nicknames. This time we don't have an excuse. Perhaps we are just being silly.
