Toothsome

Jonah's first tooth finally broke through this week. I haven't seen it that much but I've got the marks on my shoulder to prove it. He's got several more teeth that are about to break through the gum line which should make feeding time a lot more fun.

Jonah got his helmet this week. It is too early to tell if he hates it or just dislikes it. We are trying to build up his tolerance to it so he can wear it 22 hours a day for the next few months. Hopefully this summer won't be too hot or we'll have to stop calling him helmet head and start calling him stinky head.

Laughter

Jonah thinks his sisters are hilarious. Here is a video of him watching Sophie toss a pillow in the air and catch it. Not sure why he thought it was funny but he was really cracking up. I only got the end of his giggle fest but it is still pretty cute.

Helmet Head

Jonah had his 6 month check-up today. The stats:

Height: 28 inches (95th percentile)
Weight: 18.5 pounds (75th percentile)
Head: deformed

We have an appointment this afternoon to scan Jonah's head for a helmet so we can reshape it. He has a moderate case of plagiocephaly. It looks like he will have to wear a helmet for 4 months or so. Hopefully this will make his head more rounded and give him one less excuse for hating his parents during his teenage years.

I sat the kids down for a photo shoot for their grandparents' 40th wedding anniversary. After much screaming and hair pulling we got a few decent shots.
