Nun Chucks

When they handed Sophie the nun chucks at karate class today the look on her face just said, "Yeah, this feels right."

I Built That...Almost.

Look out; here come the water works.

Jonah received a new toy today.  It was Gonzo (the Muppet) in a paddle boat.  If you depressed a treasure chest on the boat the paddle wheel would spin and the boat would ostensibly scoot across your tub.  Jonah wanted to play with the boat immediately.  Unfortunately, he had just had a bath and it was nap time.  I filled the bathroom sink with water and let him play with the boat in there. Jonah was happy as a clam playing with the boat in the sink.  I went upstairs to do a few things and then called him upstairs.  He came into the room to use the potty and his arms, not surprisingly, were soaked with water.  After he was changed and we were reading a story Carrie came in to inform us that Jonah isn't allowed to play in the sink alone anymore.  Either he needed more water or wasn't clear on cause and effect for emptying the sink but he had left the drain plugged and turned the water on full blast.  Water had been pouring over the sink and flooding the bathroom floor.  Fortunately it wasn't a flood of biblical proportions.
